Introduction

In a city somewhere, two children live on opposite sides of a street. Every night from the windows of their bedrooms they call out to each other, and slide down the rooftops to the old abandoned cinema below. Abandoned, that is by all but the organist and an owl who has taken a liking to the place.

But this is no ordinary cinema. While appearing to be merely a grey, empty shell, we know it as a place of wondrous machines, where anything you can draw can be made real and you yourself can act out the fantasy on the screen.
